What is MD Laser?
It is a therapy which use latest generation of laser tool Medlite C6 from Q-Switched Nd:YAG, so the laser beam can penetrate into skin tissue with optimum strength & high speed, reducing risk of damaging skin tissues surrounding the treated area. Besides treating pigmentation problems, MD Laser can also be used as a Non Ablative Skin Rejuvenation Treatment.
How do MD Laser works?
Medlite C6 target pigments, like melanin, oxyhaemoglobin in red blood cells and pigment on tattoo. Laser will destroy those pigments so that pigments will be fragmented and washed out by lymphatic stream, gradually it will fading out.
What kind of problems which can be treated by MD Laser?
This therapy is beneficial to treat pigment and as a non-ablative skin rejuvenation therapy.
Sort of problems which can be treated:
• Freckles.
• Lentigines.
• Melasma on epidermis.
• Café-au-lait macules.
• Mole.
• Birthmark.
• Tattoo in dark blue, red, and black color.
Besides, this therapy also can be used to make wrinkles around eye area less visible, large pores, and acne scars (a non-ablative skin rejuvenation).
Is there any special preparation needed prior to therapy?
No special preparation needed and stop using any skincare for peeling 3-5 days prior to therapy.
How is the skin reaction after the therapy?
Sometimes there will be a bit of redness on skin after the therapy which will be gone immediately. Crust can also emerge on treated area but will be disappear in within 1 week. Avoid direct exposure to the sun for about 1 week.
How many times MD Laser should be performed?
It depends on the problem, in some case need more than once therapy with interval 4-8 weeks.
